Match report Highlights: Miles Barnard 122*.

The rain ruined what had the potential to be a very good game of cricket on Saturday, with Leverstock Green only avoiding the prospect of a heavy defeat thanks to a fantastic unbeaten century from Miles Barnard. His 122* was the dominant factor in Leverstock Green's 172/8 from 46 overs, with only Lewis Koch of the other LGCC batsmen reaching double figures with 18. Barnard struck 12 fours, and 4 sixes in his innings, which occupied 139 deliveries, and was his second century of the season. The battle between Preston's overseas player Crea, and Barnard was of particular highlight, as the two Australians duelled it out, with Barnard coming out well on top. Unfortunately rain forced an early tea, and before long the Bedmond Road wicket was under water, and the game abandoned.
