Match report LEVERSTOCK GREEN eased through to the final of the Heath Park Cup with a comfortable success over Ivinghoe & Pitstone at The Green.

This last-four tie had none of the tension of the quarter-final triumph against local rivals Hemel Hempstead Town, and was finished as a contest once Green had racked up a giant 212-4 from their 20 overs.

Sol Tomlinson plundered a quick-fire 75 at the top of the order, while Charlie Mahanama (50) and Nahim Iqbal (45) kept the relentless momentum going later on in the innings.

The Four Counties League team under-represented themselves on the night and were left over 120 runs short after a chase which saw Lewis Koch snaffle four of the wickets to fall.

Enjoyed by a healthy crowd at The Green, the evening was rounded off with a direct-hit run-out from Leonard Walker to send Levy into the Friday July 13 final at Hemel Town's Heath Park ground against either Langleybury or Chipperfield Clarendon.
