Thursday April 11 (and every Thursday), 6.30pm-8pm
A weekly yoga session for members, with the clubhouse designated for exclusive use of the group. A drink and conversation often follow the weekly workout.

JUNIOR CRICKET: Informal Net Session
Not the official start of 'Friday Nights at The Green' (junior coaching + parents drinking), but a chance for juniors of any age to come up and use one of the club's two new artificial turf nets. Please note specific timings by age group: 6pm-7pm U10s-U12s, 7pm-8pm U13s-U17s. Training for juniors at ages younger than U10 will start on Friday April 26.

BAR ROTA STAFF SOCIAL
There's a gathering of volunteer bar staff a week Friday. It's a little way of saying thanks for the time given up to serve other LGCC members. Bar Chairman Graham Evans will be there next week, so if you've thought about helping out behind the bar just once per month in exchange for 20% off your drinks all year round, then do come along and say hello.

SPRING CLEAN AT LGCC
Volunteers are welcomed from 10am at The Green to help tidy up around and about the LGCC clubhouse, with tea & coffee served afterwards - just as the bar opens, too.

EASTER EGG HUNT - FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Bring the kids along on Easter Sunday for a special family-themed Easter Egg Hunt from 2pm onwards - along with some other fun for children. Members are welcome to bring guests and their families along, to show them how welcoming a club we have here at The Green.

Junior Cricket Matches Begin
Herts Junior League games have been scheduled for this week, despite it being during the Easter holidays. Please mark your availability against relevant age group fixtures for your child(ren) once logged in on the club's website. If you need a password reset or reminder, drop a text (with the email you want to be registered (in case it's changed)) to Richard W on 07881 658415.

JUNIOR CRICKET: Coaching 'Friday Nights' Begin, from 6.30pm
The official start of Friday Nights, when parents look out lovingly from the clubhouse and watch as their children take part in our group coaching sessions - split by age & ability. We'll have hot food available every week, subject to their being enough volunteers to take a turn in providing it. The bar will be open and everyone is welcome along to socialise.

'FINAL FRIDAYS' - CLUB SOCIAL EVENT: Wedding Of The King & His Queen
Continuing our theme of a main club social event on the last Friday of each calendar month, it's time to fish out the posh frocks and dinner jackets as LGCC's former overseas cricketer Alex King pays the UK a post-marriage visit to re-confirm his vows to the delightful Georgia Foote in a 'wedding ceremony'.
This evening will include a prosecco bar, a hot food wedding buffet and the usual Friday night Meat Raffle as well as a disco.

SENIOR CRICKET: Pre-Season Sign-On & Social including 'Local' Landau's 40th Birthday Bash
Join us at The Green after the last of April's pre-season warm-up matches for an evening of laughs, drinks, karaoke and much more as Mark Landau and his family & friends join us to celebrate his 40th birthday.
This evening also provides a last chance for LGCC playing members to pay their annual subscriptions due ahead of the 2019 cricket season commencing.

A very popular monthly staple on the Events calendar, Quiz Night is a monthly chance to pit your wits against fellow members for cash prizes as well as a spot of fundraising from time to time. They're always held on the first Sunday in each calendar month, so please feel free to come along as a team or individuals to join up with others.

CHRIS'S BANJO BASH
Musicians meet once a month under the supervision of group leader Chris Lawrance to join like-minded souls for an evening of good old foot-tapping sounds. Come along and listen or have a chat with Chris about joining the merry band of music-makers for this monthly event.

SENIOR CRICKET: Saracens Herts Premier Cricket League season begins
It's the first official sound of leather on willow for summer 2019, with all four LGCC Saturday XIs starting their Herts League campaigns.
The 1st XI will be getting us underway in Championship action, from 11.30am with Dunstable Town CC our visitors to The Green for the opening-day fixture.

CLUB SOCIAL EVENT - SPEEDQUIZZING: Use your mobile phone at a Quiz Night - at last!
Join us for something brand new at LGCC as mobile phones become an essential for this new style of interactive Quiz Nights. It's technology-based in terms of submitting answers, but you don't need to be a whizzkid to have a go. It's questions and answers - using your mobile!

CLUB SOCIAL EVENT: Live Music From Daniel McClelland & The Swing Pins
Performing for the first time at LGCC, it's live music from Daniel McClelland & The Swing Pins. The two-piece band will indulge in a range of swing & Rat Pack style hits during what promises to be an enjoyable evening - free of charge here at The Green.
(This performance was rescheduled from its originally-planned date of March 29.)

FINAL FRIDAYS - CLUB SOCIAL EVENT: Prize Bingo with Fish & Chips
Continuing our theme of a main club social event on the last Friday of each calendar month, this time it's Cash Prize Bingo (rescheduled from late March) accompanied by a fish & chips supper for all (vegeterian options available, too).
We'll need to know in advance if you're coming along to order food accordingly, so please notify the Events Team using the details below.
