Match report LEVY GREEN Under-10s produced an excellent all-round display - perhaps their best of the summer so far - to defeat Tring Park by 22 runs at the end of an entertaining game played in good spirit by both teams.

Rushil Dodhia and Stan Heritage got the Green innings off to a steady start, with both batsmen finding the boundary.

Shazil Hussain's knock of 16 not out included a six, and later on Ben Orriss went one better by hitting two maximums as he struck an unbeaten 20 to help Levy set a target of 290 for victory.

Equally good striking by some of the Tring batsmen meant the result wasn't certain until the final few overs - but this was more thanks to fine ground fielding from the whole team and in particular James Craig and Tayla Walker, who registered a wicket with a caught-behind by Ben.

Stan bowled accurately against the hosts's strongest two batters, while skipper Lewis Cooper sent down a very accurate three overs.

And finally, a special mention to late stand-in Zain Hussain who did very well for the team and got a big round of applause from everyone after the match.

Well done to everyone this evening. The post-match burgers tasted good after a win!
