Match report Kings Langley U15s batted first and a very strong opening partnership were difficult to remove.

Ratnakumaran played second fiddle to a hard hitting Oli Toms who amassed 93 runs out of 143 while he was in.

The final Langley total was 164 but this hid the fact that Green had bowled and fielded quite well, although one or two bowlers were guilty of bowling too short too often.

Rory Fleming (2-27) and George McCausland (1-30) were the wicket-takers and a good spell from Wasim Saleem could easily have removed Oli Toms for a lower score.

In reply Green lost a wicket early and were up against it from there. Sam Revell (28) and Connor Church (23) hit useful scores but the Green needed someone to get a really big score for victory on this particular occasion.

Good middle order scores from Harry Walters (43*) and Rory Fleming (25) were not enough to close the gap and Kings Langley ended up winners primarily due to Oli Toms' impressive innings. Good luck in the final KL.
