Match report 30 points for the 2`s with an totally emphatic win over Old Camdenians at Burtonhole Lane. A steady start by openers Seggs (22) & Church (21) seemed to have set a good base to build on. KG (18) kept the board ticking over at a leisurely pace. However, we lost 3 of our middle order in quick time , leaving the Green wobbling at 87-6. With the Camdenians pecker up , they thought the game may have been won already. Enter Walker & Tyson who both batted with power and patience when required. Walker 60 not out and Tyson 73 not out may/must have set a record partnership of 150 for the 7th wicket. Camdenians chase was probably predictable in that they took time to score runs mainly due to good bowling from Shandy. Matt Lake bowled with flight and guile taking 6-66 from 20 overs. Captain kept well with 3 catches behind the timbers and in general our fielding was very good. Murph;Ali and KG also held good catches to secure our win. Top performance chaps another big win.
