Match report The positives from this game - Keith G 64 opening (rolling back the years) Sam Revell good knock 29.Gareth Tucker 18 also formed a good partnership with KG. Partnerships are key to building a team score and patience is required when we are batting. From a strong position of 115-2, we collapsed to 164 all out which left us short of our target 200 which was achievable.

Nash bowled well taking 5-25 but by no means was unplayable as those figures suggest,just poor shot selection added with lack of patience gave him 3 easy wickets. We have to make the bowlers earn their wickets chaps !!

In the field we plugged away , taking wickets at vital times. Datchworth at 135-5 seemed in control as Benton 54 * and Geraerts formed a winning partnership. However, couple quick wickets fell and the Green sniffed a chance of victory, at 159-9 this game was up for the grabs but unfortunately Datchworth sneaked it with 1 wicket remaining. A lot to learn from this defeat , bear in mind this is our first defeat since end MAY 2012 ! Our bowlers must be more accurate with line and lengths , in the field we need to up our game at times and stay positive and batting wise we need to concentrate and be selfish to win or build score if batting first. Apart from that 13 points not too bad and keeps us in 5th place ready to pounce next week.
