Match report Leverstock Green were put into bat and some good Flamstead catching meant the openers weren't able to progress as much as they would have liked.Batsmen 3,4,5 Fleming,Walters and Revell then helped to recover the LG score. Skipper Sam Revell (30 retired) and Harry Walters (21 not out)made particularly strong contributions with the bat. In the end after McCausland and Graham also hit some boundaries, LG finished on 119 for 5. They may have probably hoped for an even bigger score but Flamstead proved resilient.

In reply, Flamstead's openers had a steady start but the Leverstock Green spirit returned in the field and this helped the bowlers in the main to keep on top. Good contributions from Walters 2 for 11 and Dominic Clarke 1 for 10 helped the cause. But the pick of the bowlers was Daniel Oliver who bowled a tight opening spell of 3 overs, 1 maiden for only 3 runs. Well done Green.

The next match vs Harpenden will be a tough test and will require all those in the team to perform even more strongly.
