JUST LIKE BATTING...IT'S ALL ABOUT PARTNERSHIPS

LEVERSTOCK GREEN CC shares its gratitude among all those businesses who chose to partner with the club at the heart of its community.

Forming our key new partnerships in 2022 and beyond, it's Lords Builders Merchants and GPFLewis plc.

Lords Builders Merchants
are a real local & regional success story, led by their Group Managing Director Jamie Herd. Now, as well as being the principal partner of LGFC across the road, they are the proud principal partner for Leverstock Green Cricket Club.

Having acquired other local businesses, they are now the go-to name for builders and the trade within south-west Hertfordshire and beyond into north London.

Long-serving Andy Jeans will be a familiar face across the area, having served in the industry for many years. Along with Jamie, Andy and their team, the whole company is looking forward to a very long-lasting relationship with that personal touch which being part of the LGCC community guarantees.

Joining us this year as front-of-shirt sponsors are GPFLewis plc. Newly-headquartered in Kings Langley, having been based before in Watford, Managing Director Rory Fitzgerald was keen to further establish the company's reputation as a true force for good within the local community.

A giant in the civil engineering industry, with jobs ranging from small commercial fit-outs up to large-scale site management and infrastructure upgrades, GPFLewis plc are getting behind a number of local sporting organisations as well as continuing their sponsorship of National League football team Wealdstone FC.

++++++

Perhaps the longest-standing of LGCC's sponsorships comes from long-serving player Imran Iqbal, and his ever-expanding suite of Elite companies.

Elite Pave is a name everyone will be familiar with locally, as the predominant force for paving & landscapings jobs completed in the blink of an eye once Imran's army of experts reaches site.

Now though, filling the sleeve sponsor slots - with Elite Pave a fixture on the back-of-shirt - are Imran's two other Elite companies; namely Elite Green Leaf Tree Care Ltd and Elite Refurbs Ltd

The club's burgeoning junior cricket programme, meanwhile, is sponsored by long-time partners Ashtons Estate Agents (formally Aitchisons). They have a number of local branch offices and have been extremely keen to offer their ongoing support. Their logo can be seen on the front of junior playing shirts new for 2022, and on the road-facing side of the two sightscreens at the village centre end of The Green's outfield.

Our lead digital partner and website sponsor is travelfourseasons, with their local office in Harpenden - founded by LGCC member and former junior player Séan Fletcher.

Mr Gates Group - based in Berkhamsted and led by Sunil and his team - are continuing as sponsors here at The Green, and we thank them for their ongoing support.

Our long-term club clothing partner is town centre shop Peter Spivey Ltd, managed by propreitor Jamie Tomkins, from whom all of our Stuart Surridge playing kit, training kit and other items are sourced. Jamie will offer all LGCC players a discount when purchasing any cricket or sport-related items in-store if you mention you play for the club.

We're also grateful to Dave Tilbury and his team at GasFlowHeating.com, who joined the fold last summer and re-committed their sponsorship once again to our great delight. Once again, please mention LGCC if you have cause to contact them.

Welcome additions also come in the shape of M. Mansell (Watford) Damp Proofing & Timber Treatment, along with Herts Cleaning Angels.

Carlsberg Marston's are the brewery with which LGCC are signed up, a relationship which began in 2017 with the then independeny Marston's Brewery.

From the financial side of life, club auditors Myers Clark continue to offer their support, while Hicks Accountants and Best Rate FX are both long-time partners who are still very much involved.

All of these local businesses join together with Leverstock Green CC in order to support this community-focused club.

Clearly, they and we would be grateful if you'd care to support their companies by sending your business or enquiry in their direction; and always remembering to mention that you're a member at LGCC.

LGCC works hard to ensure a feeling of value is offered to all those who kindly choose to associate themselves with a club which places great emphasis on being a community hub.

If you think that's right for your business, whether local or regional, please contact LGCC's Marketing & Income Development Officer Brian Coulshed: briancoulshed@hotmail.co.uk or 07711 587778.
