JUNIOR CRICKET: Second-Hand Cricket Clothing & Equipment Scheme

12 Apr 2016

KEELEY DOWNES, LGCC's new Club Welfare Officer, is launching a scheme whereby junior players of all ages can benefit by use from items of clothing and equipment no longer required by others.

She writes: "As a parent, knowing how quickly our children grow, I thought it would be a good idea to set up a second-hand cricket container.

"If you have any cricket clothing or equipment that is no longer used and would like passed on to a new LGCC home, we would welcome it being donated by you. I would ask that if you could make sure that all items are clean and presentable before donation.

"Every Saturday morning (during junior coaching sessions), I will have an area for clothes/equipment to be collected in boxes. If there are any items that you would like to take away from the donated collection, then you are very welcome to.

"A small donation to the club, for use in the purchase of junior cricket coaching equipment in the future, would be very welcome."
