JUST LIKE BATTING...IT'S ALL ABOUT PARTNERSHIPS

LEVERSTOCK GREEN CC shares its gratitude among all those businesses who chose to partner with the club at the heart of its community.

Globally-renowned footwear brand Skechers joined the LGCC family as a proud Community Partner in 2024, with UK & Ireland MD Richard Parker keen for the company he leads to help the club further serve the junior cricketing community in the very best way possible.

Also pledging their support towards the club's sporting provision for young people are Squire Estates, an established name in the local community and the Hemel Hempstead area. MD Jeanette Squire and her team are happy to help LGCC members in discussing that next property decision.

Continuing their sponsorship are GPFLewis plc. Headquartered in Kings Langley, having been based before in Watford, Managing Director Rory Fitzgerald was keen to further establish the company's reputation as a true force for good within the local community.

A giant in the civil engineering industry, with jobs ranging from small commercial fit-outs up to large-scale site management and infrastructure upgrades, GPFLewis plc are getting behind a number of local sporting organisations as well as continuing their sponsorship of National League football team Wealdstone FC.

As well as clubhouse branding, Squire Estates and GPFLewis plc also benefit from road-facing advertising on the back of our village shops-end sightscreens.

Perhaps the longest-standing of LGCC's sponsorships comes from long-serving player Imran Iqbal, and his ever-expanding suite of Elite companies.

Elite Pave is a name everyone will be familiar with locally, as the predominant force for paving & landscapings jobs completed in the blink of an eye once Imran's army of experts reaches site.

Now though, filling other sponsor slots - with Elite Pave a fixture on playing shirts for years - are Imran's two other Elite companies; namely Elite Green Leaf Tree Care Ltd and Elite Refurbs Ltd

Mr Gates Group - based in Berkhamsted and led by Sunil and his team - are continuing as sponsors here at The Green, and we thank them for their ongoing support.

Heta Mehta, whose son plays within LGCC's senior & junior ranks, has for the first time in 2024 joined those that wish to associate with the club. She's an independent financial adviser - part of the network Quilter Financial Advisers, and is available to LGCC members & their families to discuss all matters fiscal.

Also a parent of a junior player progressing into senior ranks, Paul Cruickshanks and his company SAS Concepts have partnered with LGCC, delivering a club-wide CCTV system at no cost to the club by way of introduction. We're very grateful this act of kindness.

Our long-term club clothing partner is town centre shop Peter Spivey Ltd, managed by propreitor Jamie Tomkins, from whom all of our Stuart Surridge playing kit, training kit and other items are sourced. Jamie will offer all LGCC players a discount when purchasing any cricket or sport-related items in-store if you mention you play for the club.

Within that same field, Romida Cricket also provide support to LGCC. Their cricket store can be found at the top of Mark Road within the Maylands industrial estate.

We're also grateful to Dave Tilbury and his team at GasFlowHeating.com, who joined the fold last summer and re-committed their sponsorship once again to our great delight. Once again, please mention LGCC if you have cause to contact them.

Ozlocks Locksmith have also been welcomed to the LGCC sponsorship family, with a digital and side-of-clubhouse branding presence.

Welcome additions also come in the shape of M. Mansell (Watford) Damp Proofing & Timber Treatment, along with Herts Cleaning Angels.

From the financial side of life, club auditors Myers Clark continue to offer their support, while Hicks Accountants and Best Rate FX are both long-time partners who are still very much involved.

All of these local businesses join together with Leverstock Green CC in order to support this community-focused club.

Clearly, they and we would be grateful if you'd care to support their companies by sending your business or enquiry in their direction; and always remembering to mention that you're a member at LGCC.

LGCC works hard to ensure a feeling of value is offered to all those who kindly choose to associate themselves with a club which places great emphasis on being a community hub.

If you think that's right for your business, whether local or regional, please contact LGCC's Marketing & Income Development Officer Brian Coulshed: briancoulshed@hotmail.co.uk or 07711 587778.
