IT'S now time to ensure you're part of the return of one of the feature social events at LGCC, the Annual Dinner & Dance (including senior cricket awards-giving).

The date at LGCC is Saturday October 8, which a specially-built giant gazebo stretching out from the clubhouse on The Green.

It's a 6pm welcome, with cricket awards at 6.30pm. Dinner is served at 7.30pm with a disco from 9.30pm onwards - and there'll be table magic from LGCC's very own Mr Phil Perry.

Places are limited and are already being snapped up, so please don't delay in ensuring you're there. Dress code is smart casual and places cost £45 per person.

Hopefully, you'll have already received an email from the LGCC Social Committee account above the event - and therefore this can be treated as a polite reminder to act.

THANKS to an overwhelmingly positive survey response, the hoped-for return of the LGCC Annual Dinner & Dance is now confirmed.

Saturday October 8 is the date when revellers drawn from both the non-playing and playing membership at The Green will be invited along for a relaxed evening comprising of a three-course meal with live entertainment afterwards - hosted in a marquee adjoining the clubhouse.

Midway through proceedings, the night will also provide a chance to present the awards for the senior cricket section after the close of summer season 2016.

Ticket price and all other relevant information will soon be dispatched by email to all club members, as well as being posted within the clubhouse and here on the LGCC website.
