NOW is a great time to be joining the rota of bar volunteers at LGCC - with a till discount of 20 per cent being offered to those who help on a regular basis.

There are still a handful of once-a-month slots to fill on the bar rota at The Green, with full training provided for new starters - which means a chance to add a handy extra line to your CV as well as polishing those customer service skills on the warm and welcoming faces of fellow members.

LGCC considers 'regular' bar duty - in order to earn the 20 per cent discount, applied at the till when you swipe your membership card* - to be a bar stint at least once per month.
