IT'S our privilege to confirm the return of overseas player Sol Tomlinson to The Green for the 2017 cricket season.
The Sydney-based batting all-rounder scored nearly 450 runs and took 20 wickets to help Levy's 1st XI consolidated their place in Saracens Herts Premier Cricket League Division One.
He also bludgeoned over 500 runs for the Sunday LGCC & SAWICC XI as the side earned promotion in the Chess Valley League.
With, by his own admission, unfinished business on the field in terms of potential yet to be fulfilled, Sol also made a huge contribution to the health of the club's junior cricket scene with his assistance on coaching and matchdays.
In addition to this, there's further excellent news in the shape of the return of Miles Barnard - the club's previous overseas player - joining us from early July until the end of the season, after he finishes a spell travelling across Europe.
With Miles holding both a UK and Australian passport, it means he and Sol can add batting firepower together for the latter part of the 1st XI campaign.
