MIDWEEK knockout cup finals and success have become a regular theme for LGCC in recent seasons - but there's been no such luck this summer and now all hopes of glory rest with the B team's WO Fourteen14 Plate quarter-final tie at The Green on Tuesday June 13.
It's a competition Green have won twice within the last decade, the most recent of which in 2014 when the A XI (pictured) overcame Bushey CC in a low-scoring final.
Recent defeats for the A XI at home to Radlett and Hemel Hempstead Town in the WO Fourteen14 and Heath Park Cup respectively means it's now Sam Mazurek's outfit now carrying the hopes of T20 glory in 2017 for Levy.
The B XI host Aldenham in the Plate Quarter-Final at The Green tomorrow (Tue Jun 13) night, with the start time scheduled for 6.15pm.
Your support would be very welcome as Sam & co. look to set up a semi-final tie at Chipperfield Clarendon CC on Thursday June 29.
