HERTFORDSHIRE County all-rounder Cole Seggery recently flew the LGCC flag in  picturesque Sri Lanka.

Pictured here in his LGCC shirt, he's at the historic Galle ground in Sri Lanka - home to, among others, legendary paceman Lasith Malinga - when turning out for the AJ Cricket Academy against a Galle Academy line-up.

It will surprise few of his Green team-mates he loves to play alongside to learn that Cole scored 35 at Galle and hit 63 not out against a colts team from the capital Colombo.

Well done to LGCC's top junior wicketkeeper-batsman.

We'll see Cole - and all other junior players - at 2018 Winter Nets which start at Redbourn's Choice Cricket Centre in early January.
