COMBINE the best of your sporting knowledge with a chance to watch the big fight - David Haye v Tony Bellew 2 - at The Green this Saturday, May 5.

This evening will also act as the senior cricket Sign-On night after last weekend's action was washed out.

So bring your sporting brains and your annual subs to LGCC this Saturday evening.

Would-be sporting brains of all ages are welcome to the clubhouse, along with members' guests, for the quiz which will start around 8pm - after all cricketers have returned from the first weekend of Herts League matches.

Teams will be formed on the night, however you can pre-form your own of any size. Just let Rich know and we'll save some space for you.

Each participant will be asked for a donation of at £10 to cover the cost of the boxing, with any left over being donated to the Net Gains Fund.

Hot food will also be available on the evening for a modest contribution to cover costs, with any surplus also heading to the NGF's benefit.

ALONG with other LGCC members, it's now time for senior cricketers to get annual subs paid as we approach the start of season 2018.

Sign-On Saturday is May 5, with a follow-up chance after senior cricket training on Tuesday May 8.

Payments can be accepted in cash, bank transfer or by payment card via the Chip & PIN machine. 

Adult playing renewal costs £92. It's £27 for full-time students / unwaged. A £15 one-off joining fee is also payable by new members.

For reference, match fees are still fixed at last year's rates, which you'll find in the 2018 Handbook (to be published very soon).
