STILL teaching banjo, guitar and mandolin from his home, 'retired' guitar teacher Chris Lawrance has been behind the monthly musical get-togethers at LGCC for more than 10 years now – and there’s plenty more foot-tapping tunes to come.

Without Chris’s Banjo Bash, players of old-time and bluegrass numbers in particular would be without a local chance to air their favourites.

Whether you’re a player of stringed perfection or you just like listening to the sounds of these very distinctive styles, find the Banjo Bash at The Green every first Tuesday of the month.
