JOIN us at The Green on Saturday October 9, when we'll recognise the dedication and talent of ALL cricketers at LGCC.

In a change to previous years, the Junior Cricket Awards and Senior Cricket Awards events will take place on the same day - starting with our youngest age groups and moving through into the seniors by the evening.

We'll have a range of food to enjoy; both traditional BBQ fayre prepared by queen of catering Keeley Downes, and also some vegetarian delights - including pizza - cooked by Bansi, mother of one of our junior starlets. There will be a modest charge for food, to cover costs, so please bring a little cash with you.

ALL junior players will receive a memento of thanks for their efforts this summer, while there'll also be recognition for the top performers across each of our nine junior sides.

And we'll have some spot prizes to give away thanks to some fun competitions on the evening, between arrivals and prizegiving.

The older junior age groups will receive their presentations just before the Senior Awards, allowing team-mates in adult Saturday sides to be present to recognise the talent on show from our older teenage cohort - who made up a good number of the 44 names on our Herts League teamsheets every weekend this season.

We warmly encourage attendance from all families of junior players, but are mindful of capacity and therefore would ask that everyone is prepared to be flexible in allowing the players and supporters for each age group to take centre-stage within the clubhouse at the appropriate time.

The bar will be open for refreshments throughout the evening (card payments preferred), with soft drinks and water available for children, and the timings for the event are as follows:
