LIVE music and cricket will be to the fore at The Green as Leverstock Green CC celebrates The Queen's Platinum Jubilee across the Bank Holiday weekend of Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5.

(Disclaimer: no large-scale gatherings have been earmarked for The Green due to advice taken with regards to the difficulty involved in planning and securing authority approval such events)

BH THURSDAY JUNE 2
It's cracking covers band 'Undercover' making a welcome return from 8pm; playing their mix of disco, Motown, funk, pop, rock and more.

BH FRIDAY JUNE 3
Popular performer 'Vince' will reprise his Elvis set and also add Neil Diamond numbers and Rat Pack favourites to his song collection, taking to the LGCC clubhouse mic from 8pm. 

The bar will be open throughout from 12noon on Friday.

SATURDAY JUNE 4
Herts League cricket fixtures continue so the club's 1st XI are in action from 12noon on The Green. You're warmly invited to surround the boundary with your picnics and gazebos if you wish, to create a really vibrant atmosphere for this most special of regal celebrations.

There'll be a BBQ up-and-running outside the clubhouse from late afternoon, before DJ Bob James spins the wheels of steel from 8pm.

The bar will be open throughout from 12noon on Saturday.

SUNDAY JUNE 5
The clubhouse bar will be open from 12noon for those who wish to maximise their time celebrating the Platinum Jubilee!

Our 4th XI cricket fixture (moved from Saturday at an unavailable Parmiter's to the Sunday) will start at 1pm, and we hope it'll be a family feel much like Saturday around the boundary. 

From 2pm, there'll be complimentary prosecco served, as well as some accompanying nibbles, to ease you into a lazy Sunday afternoon. DJ Steve Wright will play his disco mix into the night, starting early evening, as we look to sign off the weekend in style.

For whatever part of the weekend you choose to join us, you and your guests are - as always - very welcome at The Green.
