WITH the clocks set to go forward this weekend, the Spring evenings will start to stretch out in front of us as thoughts turn to warmer times and the chance to spend time at The Green without having to seek the refuge of the clubhouse.
Here's what's coming up for the rest of March and into April 2023 at The Green and on LGCC business elsewhere...
(Cricket players & parents / guardians should note there will be separate specific communications before the end of March, detailing outdoor training dates and league fixture schedules along with other cricket-related matters)
FRIDAY SOCIAL - FRI MAR 31: Cash Prize Bingo, 8.30pm start
Join us in the LGCC club 'House!' to round off March with an evening of fun prize bingo!
It's eyes down at 8.30pm, with the clubhouse open before then for you to secure a table and some first drinks.
Payment for a Bingo Card will be accepted by either cash or card on the evening, with prizes paid to winners throughout the evening.
The club's Social Events Co-Ordinator Sandra Malloy is organising this one, so it promises to be a fun event for all attending.
We'll see you at The Green on March 3 & 1, 31!

LGCC's Monthly Quiz Night is next to be held on Sunday April 2.

It's a very fun, informal evening, nothing too heavy - but enough to get you thinking. New players are always very welcome, whether forming a full team or simply coming along and joining in with others.
There's also a Spot Prize or two along the way, with the bar open from around 7.00pm.
Quizmaster for April will be either Phil Gore or Roy Makins.

The gang usually get going from around 8.30pm at the latest. Come along and have a drink while you sit back and enjoy the toe-tapping sounds.
SUN APR 9: LEVERSTOCK GREEN CC'S EASTER EGG HUNT - starts 2.30pm
All LGCC families and their guests are welcome to The Green this Easter Sunday so that children can enjoy a Grand Easter Egg Hunt.
With a start time set for 2.30pm, please arrive in good time so the Social Events team can ensure there's plenty of fun to be had for everyone.
Let's hope for slightly better weather than we're currently experiencing, as an outdoor hunt holds far more appeal!
Join us on Easter Sunday, then, for some traditional family fun.
