LEVERSTOCK GREEN CRICKET CLUB is pleased to confirm that this summer's Junior Awards event will take place on Sunday September 10, at The Green.

We've chosen the date with the confidence it won't clash with winter sports of any kind, clubs, school commitments etc., to ensure maximal attendance at the annual celebration of achievements and participation among our ever-growing junior ranks.

Parents are asked to bring along either a home-made dessert or a metric tonne of confectionery to help keep the energy levels high throughout the evening, please.

As well as the awards, there will be some spot prizes available for youngsters to win on the evening...more about that on the day itself!

We are grateful to so many of you for taking up a Family Membership this season, thus supporting our provision of junior cricket even further.

We hope the young player(s) in your care has / have enjoyed Season 2023 as much as the coaching team have enjoyed putting on the training sessions and running matches.

Please feel free to bring extended family & friends to this Awards event; as is always the case at LGCC, everyone is warmly welcomed. The clubhouse will be busy, so do arrive early to secure your seats. If the weather is really kind, we may move the awards-giving to outside - with presentations from the patio. Given this summer, though, it seems likely we'll be indoors!

Running Order
+ 5.00pm-5.30pm: arrivals
+ 5.30pm: Awards begin, starting with U9 age group (which includes mementoes for all those to have trained this season)
+ 7.30pm: Approximate finish time for U15 age group and overall LGCC Junior special awards for 2023

The bar will be open throughout the afternoon until the end of the event, for parents who need a drink or two top cope with the inevitable sugar-induced maniacal behaviour from the kids. 

IMPORTANT: Please could ALL junior players wear their green training shirts. We are expecting sponsor GPFLewis to attend to make presentations and for a mass group photo.
