SUN DEC 1: Comedy Night At LGCC Courtesy Of He-He-Hemel Comedy
Advance Booking Essential: LGCC members have until midnight on Sunday November 11 to reserve free places from a limited number.
In a first event of its kind at The Green, we're inviting you to try a free night of stand-up comedy, courtesy of the He-He-Hemel Comedy Club, starting promptly at 7.00pm on Sunday December 1.
New on the scene, the club enjoyed an excellent first event to rave reviews in Hemel Old Town, bringing some of the best of local & regional comics to the stage with no charge to attendees - although donations on the night are welcomed to help cover costs.

SUN DEC 8: Monthly Quiz Night - Christmas Edition
Moved back a week to accommodate Comedy Night, please join us for a Christmas Special edition of LGCC's Monthly Quiz Night.
As usual, there'll be a £2 per person entry fee for quizzers, who can form into teams of any size or come along solo or as a pair and join together with others.
Our club Quizzes put the emphasis on fun and aren't too heavy going, so why not give it a try - especially given the festive theme.
December's quizmaster Richard Walker looks forward to seeing you for a start around 7.30pm. The clubhouse & bar will be open from 7.00pm.

SAT DEC 14: Christmas At LGCC - Live Music from Scam 69
Back for a winter visit to blow the doors off of the LGCC clubhouse with their expert sounds, it's New Wave / Punk covers band Scam 69 - a favourite with many regulars at The Green.
Their two-part set - polished by regular weekend bookings delivered across three decades of gigs - will start around 8.30pm so please arrive in good time if you'd like to be seated for the evening.
The clubhouse & bar will be open from around 7.15pm for those keen to get a couple of early drinks in and/or secure seating for the shin-dig.
After a packed-to-capacity clubhouse enjoyed Scam's last performance during Cricket Week 2024, join us once again to enjoy the boys in full voice.
We'll be running a raffle and hopefully have a couple of auction items to bid on during the evening, funds from which will help us cover the band hire fee.
Note: as this is an extra gig in the December schedule, a £5 donation from non-members attending towards the cost of the band would also be welcomed. Please make your guests aware of this.

SAT DEC 21: Christmas At LGCC - Live Music from The John Knowles Duo
Seeing us into Christmas week, it's a change of style for our second of two live music offerings at LGCC, with The John Knowles duo playing at The Green on the evening of Saturday December 21.
Starting around 8.30pm, John's guitar duo enjoys an extraordinarily wide songbook from which a great set is guaranteed.
There'll be plenty of tunes that will get you singing along and dancing in the aisles (well, the clubhouse floor - but you get the idea!).
It'll be another busy pre-Christmas evening at The Green, so please do arrive in good time to secure seats if that's your preference.
As ever, family and friends - drawn from anywhere across our community, not just the membership base - are very welcome, and entry is free to everyone.

TUE DEC 24: Christmas At LGCC - The 'Darker' Side Of Christmas
Could a Christmas Eve of festive revelry at The Green possibly be complete without the inimitable interjections from our very own Kim Darker? No, frankly it couldn't.
So yes, 'The Darker Side of Christmas' is back again for 2024, with the kind of sing-a-long qualities you're going to have pay several hundred pounds for in the summer if you're Oasis-bound.
Never mind them, this is our very own raconteur and song-smith. Kim Darker at Christmas Eve. Don't miss it!

TUE DEC 31: Christmas At LGCC - New Year's Eve Party
Our always-sold out New Year's Party - including a DJ spinning all your favourites on the decks - is back for 2024, so it's time now to start reserving your tickets.
Priced at the very reasonable rate of £10 per person, the ticket guarantees you one of the limited number of spots inside the LGCC clubhouse to see in 2025 with us.
We are very conscious of not overcrowding the clubhouse, thus the need for you to please book in advance. It's almost impossible to accommodate those arriving on the evening without reserving in advance.
