Junior training today is cancelled due to a waterlogged outfield.

After another 7.30am inspection (a common occurrence this year) the ground is just too wet. On arrival the sun was shining and the thought that this could dry out swept over me. It only lasted 5 minutes before it disappeared behind the thick grey clouds that have hounded us throughout the 2012 drought and ongoing hosepipe ban.

Training will continue (weather permitting) until the school holidays. We will also be endeavouring to play some friendlies where possible to catch up on the washout of a summer.
