CONGRATULATIONS to club chairman Steve Wilson on recording a first-ever century of his long and distinguished career at Leverstock Green CC.

He is believed to now hold the honour of being the oldest maiden centurion at The Green, after his unbeaten 101 - opening the batting, to boot - put Green 4s well on their way to a much-needed victory in Herts League Division Thirteen earlier today.

More noted as a devilishly-accurate medium-pace bowler over the years, 'SJ' has now written himself into the LGCC record books with the bat.
