Match report The most spirited Green performance in the field to date. On a desperate grim evening LGCC batted well at times and in 20 overs reached 105 for 8 thanks mainly to 34 from capt Sam Revell. Connor Church batted well at the start with 13 seeing off the 4 overs of bounce and pace of opener Mackie.Angel was the pick of Berko's bowlers with 3 for 17. In the field LGCC were a new team ..full of vivality and wit and a terrific team spirit. The banter and encouragement from everyone never stopped despite the ball getting wetter all the time and the conditions very tough for a fielding side. Some great catches from McCausland (2), Revell and Fleming showed that concentration never faltered and the fielding performance was very good as a result of this new found spirit. Berko ended up eventual winners but Wasim Saleem managed to get 2 for 7 from his 2 overs. Keep this up Green it was a treat to be there .
