Match report A great match going down to the last over on a warm friday night on The Green. Lev Green finally won by 6 wkts.
M Parkins was Abbots star batsman with a fine 51. The pick of the Green’s bowlers being Daniel Oliver with 1 for 12 and Sam Revell 1 for 5. In reply The Green started very strongly with George McCausland’s very hard hitting 52, his maiden fifty for the Club ably assisted by his opening partner left handed Connor Church 34. Always up with the run rate Rory Fleming came in at the end to hit 12 not out and the winning runs.
N. Kotecha bowled well with the best match figures of 3 for 20.
A great win with excellent contributions from everyone.
