PUTTING on 200-plus runs clearly holds no fears for Mike Parkes' Leverstock Green 3s. They did it for a fourth time this summer, and for a second time chasing to overhaul a target of 219 set by Parmiter's visitors North Mymms III.
Neil Fleming carved out 45 at the top of the order, then youngsters Luke Weston (48 not out) and Paul Insley (45) took up the mantle with a match-winning 77-run seventh-wicket partnership.
Dayle Littlejohn's 32 and 24 from Dan Shimell also helped Green's run chase along such that the job was completed with six overs spare.
Earlier, veteran trundler Chris Renwick moved through the gears during a 14-over spell to take three for 49 as Mymms made an ultimately insufficient 219 for six from their 53 overs.
