Leverstock Green Cricket Club 3rd XI v Met Police Bushey II on Sat 10 Jul 2010 at 1pm
Leverstock Green Cricket Club Lost by 8 wickets

Match report Highlights: Mike Parkes 35, Daniel Shimell 32.
MET POLICE BUSHEY 2s number three Kris Perera struck an excellent unbeaten 77 to make light work of the 176 set for victory by hosts Leverstock Green III. Craig Gumsley hit 34 not out as the pair put on an unbroken 118 for a convincing eight-wicket triumph.
Earlier, spinner Mick How took four for 56 from 15 overs for Met as he and Mark Terry (3-16) did for most of Green’s batting.
Brian Coulshed batted for over two hours at the top of the order, providing most resistance in compiling a studious 28. Mike Parkes top-scored with 35 and Dan Shimell was unlucky to lose his wicket when well set on 32 – but the contributions proved in vain with high-fliers Met running out much the stronger.
