Match report A much improved Sunday performance from the Green`s finest. A youthful Hertford side lost the toss twice !! and were asked to bat - after us ! With only 8 men to start play ,Hertford bowled well as they took the early wicket of local, whom was clearly mesmerised by the amount of gaps in the field but still found the leading edge to mid on. BP 21 with A King 44 made steady progress, 18 off 1 over from Borats mate helped. Speaking of Borat , he claimed to be out bowled (this is the true part) sweeping !!! I think slog to moo corner sums the shot up . With Borat gone , Richie Walker entered with new specs, look very nice although i may have gone for silver rim instead of white.

Anyway , R .Walker and runs haven`t really been words that go together this season , unless he`s had a ruby murray. But , bad and good balls where dispatched in reasonable time, a shame the half century was missed by 1 run. Sasha Distell made his debut and i must say batted really well , hard hitting straight good to watch. The score was pushed to 238 from 45 overs with D Tyson 49 not out.

Hertford amde a reasonable start, 70-1 , Dom Clarke bowled well. The bowling changes then changed the game, Matt Lake 3-54 bowled well backed up by Sasha 2-38. Local he lives over there , took the final wicket with a proper pie.(MEAT AND POTATO)variety.
