Match report Another comfortable win by 6 wickets at Northchurch. Winning the toss we inserted Church as nothing else but 30 points is good enough for us. Once again our bowlers put pressure on the Church batters. Majid & Mazza bowled very well in good areas with just enough seam movement to trouble the batters.Church openers batted with patience, 2 dropped catches in 3 overs did not help our cause though, although both tough chances. Once we had removed the Aussie , Church struggled with the accuracy of Tyson and seam of C Dog. So , another excellent performance by the bowlers now needed to be backed up by our batters. At 27-3 the game looked to be interestingly poised, however a fantastic partnership between Bruce 53 and Mezza 51 no took the game away from Church. With the threat of rain always about and Mazza pacing up and down like a demented ex Ibiza holiday maker, we asked our batters to up the rate. Mezza and Nemo found the courage to go after the bowlers and make light work of the last 40 runs required.Another great partnership won the game with great knocks from Mezza and Nemo. Just keep swimming just keep swimming ! Or don`t stop believing
