Match report At last a sunny evening !! We travelled to Clarence Park with optimisum and belief that our fortunes would change. Luke won the toss and elected to field first. We bowled well most of the time but still too many wides and extras helped St Albans to easy runs. Abbie/Bex/Luke/kaleem were the stand out bowlers. It was pleasing that we held our catches too, Nathan kept well on a pitch that sometimes offered low bounce. To win the game we needed at least 2 of our batters to get to the magic 30 retire mark , Kaleem batted well biffing several 4`s for his 20 runs. Bex 15 and Luke added a valuable 30 odd runs partnership. Cameron showed that he can bat well against quicker bowlers , shot of the day for me his lofted front drive. Abbie , smashed several 4`s on her way to 16 not out. Well done to all players , if we keep putting the effort in at training and wanting to learn , we will win games. Thanks to Mike for scoring. Next game home to Tring 8th May.
