Match report A rain delayed start meant the toss was always going to be fairly significant. LGCC were asked to bat on a damp upper surface. Other than a hard working 10 from Daniel Lake as opener, the batters struggled to apply themselves and ended up on a very low score of 47, not helped by 5 consecutive 0's in the middle order. In reply Berko were put under plenty of pressure by the bowlers Brett Baney (3-16) and Steve May, but after the loss of 4 early wickets, this was always going to be a score that was very difficult to defend. A game to put behind us and to make sure we get stuck in to the next match.
