Match report CLUB CHAIRMAN Steve Wilson became what is believed to be the oldest maiden centurion for Leverstock Green when his unbeaten 101 helped steer the club's 4th XI to a comfortable win at home to Waltham X Rosedale IV.

Asked to open the innings by 4s stand-in skipper and club President Brian Coulshed, 'SJ' carried his bat for a first ton of his distinguished career - and just as well, with the next highest contributor for Levy being Dave Cardy's 16 amid a total of 203 for nine.

In reply, youngsters Dominic Clarke (3 for 19) and Lewis Glasscoe (2 for 25) starred with the ball, allowing the veteran Cardy's two wickets to finish off Rosedale's tail as they were removed for 117.
