LEVERSTOCK GREEN 2nd XI made it two consecutive victories and have only lost four wickets this summer in chasing down a combined 306 runs across the two games.

This time it was openers Ben Parkes, with 81, and an undefeated 53 from David Coulshed that laid the foundations for a nine-wicket win away at Hoddesdon II.

The hosts won the toss and chose to bat but found seamers Imran Iqbal and Dayle Littlejohn in miserly mood, the pair snaring three victims each.

Two Abbas Ali dismissals and tight bowling from Sam Revell and Ian Wallis restricted the home side to 134 all out before the Green batting masterclass took centre stage.
