AN unbeaten ton from Kyle Claxton and an 11-ball half-century by Marc Simonds - comprising of one dot ball, five 4s and five 6s - made sure that this WO Plate quarter-final result was never in doubt.

Langleybury 'B' - or 'The Old Contemptibles, to give them their more recognizable monicker - fought hard but played second fiddle to a very strong Levy run-scoring display on a batting-friendly track.

A giant 236 for 2 was amassed by Green from their 14 overs, with the OCs falling just five runs short of at least bringing up a three-figure total in reply during an innings in which, unusually, all seven home team bowlers used took at least one wicket.

Leverstock Green will now face Frogmore in the Watford Observer Fourteen14 Plate semi-final at Watford Town CC on the re-arranged date of Tuesday July 8.
