Tring Park v Leverstock Green Cricket Club Under 10 VIII on Fri 13 May 2016 at 6pm
Leverstock Green Cricket Club Lost by 35 runs

Match report THREE debutants all made an excellent first showing for The Green as an arctic wind made for difficult conditions at Tring Park.

The best performance among the new players came from George Sharman, whose accurate left-armers garnered him figures of 4-7 from his two overs.

Fellow first-timers Jed Driver showed his skills in the field and George Hawes was an enthusiastic addition with ball and bat.

Skipper Ben Orriss and Jack Dodd both bowled steadily to pick up a couple of wickets apiece, while delivery of the night came from Emily Young - who took the took of off stump for her dismissal.

Tidy Tring bowling restricted scoring opportunities for Levy, however there were some neat boundaries struck by both Orriss and Luca Mesiano.

A fine team effort in unpleasant weather conditions against a sporting and talented hosts.
