Match report LGCC Under-11s enjoyed a nail-biting win at The Green against Berkhamsted - with final batting pair Salman Saleem and Geraint Yates defending solidly to help record a four-run victory.

Skipper Arjun Odedra top-scored with 11, and the stroke-making of Oliver Dalton and Jemma Cardy - who shared a very positive partnership with Chloe Cooper - was also impressive as they made seven runs each.

Earlier, Cardy and George Sharman both bowled two Berko batsmen apiece, while Dalton took a catch at cover off the bowling of Harry Walker.

Yates made a fine wicketkeeping debut as Levy took six visitor's wickets to help reduce their target to 237 for victory - acheived thanks to some nerveless late-order batting.
