Match report ANOTHER defeat for Leverstock Green – but against the background of a much-improved performance, skipper Brad Klosterman had plenty of positives to take from a three-wicket reverse at home to Hoddesdon.
In truth, 161 runs on a fair Bedmond Road surface was probably 40 short of a tough target. Brent Mullet (42) and Charlie Mahanama (34) were the only Levy batsmen to get going as the lower order surrendered quickly.
The east Herts visitors looked in command at 100 for one, however Green deserve credit for their work with the ball – especially five for 49 from Mahanama – and in the field in garnering seven wickets in total before Hoddesdon hit the winning runs in the 46th over.
