Match report AT 30 for three, Green’s decision to insert Preston at the picturesque north Herts village ground looked the right one.
But despite Lee Littlejohn’s excellent seven for 46 from 18 overs and a useful spell from youngster Paul Insley, the visitors were unable to prevent Preston recording 192 all out.
Despite the nominal figure, this target shouldn’t have posed too many problems for the Levy batting line-up - however 44 from opener Kevin Seggery and 35 from Richard Walker were the only meaningful contributions of a reply that spluttered its way to a below-par 133 all out.
