Match report THE momentum of four straight wins is just the way to prepare for the visit of table-toppers Broxbourne II tomorrow (Saturday) - and Leverstock Green II climbed to second spot with a convincing defeat of strugglers Tewin.
Inserted by the Welwyn villagers, Green declared at 206 for nine after only 40 overs - fearing the weather forecast may have a hand to play later in the afternoon. Sam Roberts rattled up 51 with no little panache from the number 10 spot, while Peter Hill dug in manfully for a useful 38 as Levy's cavalier approach kept them to their game-plan.
Once again it was Imran Iqbal who starred with the ball. A little short of his season's best, he was still too accurate for Tewin. His five for 45 was the main reason behind the hosts collapse to 118 all out in under 30 overs.
