Leverstock Green Cricket Club 4th XI v Old Owens III on Sat 22 Aug 2009 at 1pm
Leverstock Green Cricket Club Won by 5 wickets
Match report
IN-FORM Gareth Tucker helped lead Leverstock Green 4s to only their second win of the summer - and gave Dave Cardy's side an outside chance of survival.
Tucker's 36 (building on his half-century the previous weekend), Will Murray's 22 and 19 from Tucker's fellow opener Dan Shimell, set Green on their way to chasing down Old Owens III's 125 all out.
Chris Dowling and Matt Fowler both bagged three wickets apiece earlier in the afternoon, ensuring a steady fall of opposition batsmen. And although he only struck twice, opening bowler Greg Coulshed kept things tight with his 13 overs of medium-pacers.
