EVEN by Division Twelve standards, Leverstock Green IV Dave Cardy must have thought the game was up when his side were skittled out by Cockfosters IV for just 78 - but he'd have been wrong.
By far the most important contribution towards Green's total came in the shape of 36 from the experience of Chris Dowling - before Levy lost their last seven wickets for just 17 runs.
But then Green engineered a collapse of their own, taking the last Cockfosters wicket with their score at 71.
This was thanks in the main to three wickets harvested by young opening bowler Tom Callingham and Cardy himself, who claimed the final victim as part of a seven-over spell with figures of four for 14.
