Match report The weather once again ruined a game that was reduced to 74 overs. The toss was perhaps vital and i probably got this one wrong and should have bowled first. However, at 21-5 we were never in the game and looked like being rolled over for less than 50. Sheffield bowled well taking 8-44 but some of our wickets were due to poor batting.Lee 49 no and Spagg 24 took us to 74 for the loss of the 7th wicket,much needed partnership. Lee and Richard 19 then added a further 50 runs by batting sensibly. A total of 136 from 39 was a very good effort. ST M`s lost 2 quick wickets for 4 runs , Olly taking one with Tys also assisting. The only two batters to achieve double fiqures were Fredericks 20 and skipper Read 39 . We tried our best to keep the game open but we ran out of overs which was a shame as we deserved more.
