A 45-run third-wicket stand between Ash Ali (38) and Chris Bauldreay (24) looked as it might set Leverstock Green on the way to setting Watford Town IV a sizeable target to chase - however a lower-order collapse meant the hosts were removed for 113 at Parmiter's School.

In reply, a phalanx of dropped catches hampered Green's chances of success. So opening pair Ali (2-39 from 16 overs) and Dom Clarke (8 overs, 1-8) often went unrewarded.

Decent spells from Charlie Cooke, Greg Coulshed and Dave Cardy kept Green in the game but steady middle-order batting from Watford carried them to a five-wicket win.
