Match report The green`s under 15 team won by 29 runs against a spirited Flamstead side. Batting first we started at a relatively slow pace with 25 runs from 5 overs. Luke Carl 26 retired not out played a variety of nice shots as did his opening partner Aryan Tomer with 23 runs. We lost a few middle order wickets but still managed to score at 6 runs per over. Rebecca Tyson 10 , Nathan Glasscoe with 18 and Will Rumble 9 pushed our total to 111-8 from 20 overs. The last over was without doubt one of the most entertaining probably seen at the green - it went in this order - Run out - single - wide - single -wicket - wide - wicket - run out!
Flamstead made steady progress with Tom 22 and Matt 22 batting well. However, once both were out they struggled against some very good bowling and fielding.We held our catches (Luke & Will) plus Bex with a direct hit for a run out eased any nerves. Pick of the bowlers - James Downes 3 over 2 for 6 with one maiden, Arslan Saleem 3 overs 1 for 9 and Harry Ridgeway 1 for 1 from 1. Another good win 4 from 4.
