Match report HOLDERS Leverstock Green will have to surrender their Adex Heath Park Cup trophy after their run chase faded away at home to Hemel Hempstead Town.

Green's 11-run defeat came as something of a surprise after they were well up with the required rate for the first dozen or so overs of their reply to Hemel's 137-7.

Kyle Claxton was caught on the boundary for 29, in-form Sam Revell top-scored with 38 and Sol Tomlinson hit 24 but the run chase lost momentum after those three batsmen were dismissed.

Strong death bowling from Town reduced Levy's run-getting to just nine off the last three overs as the visitors protected their target score.

Earlier in the game, Sam Mazurek rolled back the years to return Green's best figures of 2-30 from his five overs as all four Levy bowlers proved accurate enough to restrict Town's boundary-getting - ultimately, though, to no avail.
