IT'S all-systems-go once again for midweek cricket in 2016 with two teams entered into both the Watford Observer Fourteen14 and the Heath Park Cup T20.

LGCC'S last midweek silverware came in 2014 when they beat Bushey to lift the WO Plate (pictured) so it's high time for an assault on knockout cricket honours.

First up it's the Midweek B team, who'll host Watford Town in Heath Park Cup Round 1 on Thursday May 12.

There's a double-header of action the following week, on Tuesday May 17, which will be our first 'Cricket & Curry Night' of this summer.

The Midweek A team host Chipperfield Clarendon in Heath Park Cup Round 2, while the B team face a trip to Abbots Langley in Round 1 of the WO Fourteen14. Both teams to meet back at The Green for some post-match spiced delights.

The last of the Green's opening four midweek fixtures comes on Wednesday May 25, when the Midweek As travel to face Watford Town A in Round 2 of the WO Fourteen14.
