THANKS to two terrific events and other miscellaneous donations and contributions, LGCC's 'Net Gains Fund' stands at exactly £2,600 in early May.

After the initial Bingo Event raised £415,other initial commitments to donate and miscellaneous other contributions pushed the total north before the 'Big Fight Race Night' weighed in with a mighty £1,760.

It means there's much still to do, of course, to reach the stated £5,000 target. But it's been a fantastic start and a great response to the call to arms from right across the club's membership.

And standby for details of the next big event at The Green, set for the evening of either Saturday June 24 or Saturday July 1.
