LGCC 1st XI's promotion into the Championship means that it rests with the LGCC & SAWICC partnership to provide the club's senior Sunday cricket for 2018.

Due to The Green's new-found lofty status, being the 16th-highest ranked Hertfordshire club means the 1st XI will compete in the Readers County T20 tournament and are also ineligible to take a place in the Readers Herts County Trophy.

And St. Albans West Indian CC has confirmed they'll be happy to provide players to play in a joint team for a third successive summer.

With this news having only been confirmed for certain late in 2017, thanks are due to the Chess Valley League for accepting a late re-entry request from the LGCC & SAWICC XI.

The team will compete once again at Division 3 level, and the schedule of matches is now available to view in this website's Fixtures section.
